Domino is depicted as a normal and average American teenage girl. She goes to school and loves her friends and her school work. However, Domino also loves her family life and the people she loves.
During one episode, Domino and Johnny travel to Japan to visit her grandmother and her father's family. In this episode, Johnny has the misfortune of missing his grandmother due to an illness that he gets contracted. This is not the first time Johnny has missed his grandmother.
One day, Domino Online goes to Rusty's house in order to pay for some flowers which her grandmother had sent. During the process, Rusty accidentally drops Domino's wallet which contains a very special paper from Japan that she had given him to sign before he leaves. Domino finds out that Rusty is the Japanese businessman who wants to become friends with her.
On July 4th, Rusty goes to the Japanese Cultural Center, where he has planned to meet his friend, the comedian July (Lori Singer). When July arrives at Rusty's house, he informs Rusty that he is in Japan and would love to spend some time with him. Rusty invites July to join him for a night on the town. Johnny accepts the invitation. After they go to a bar, they notice Rusty's butler, Domino, standing behind them. Domino then realizes that Rusty is trying to get close to her in order to impress her.
Domino finally finds out that Rusty is the person she is chasing after, and July tells her about how he was invited by the Japanese Cultural Center, where he learned about July's performance in Japan. Meanwhile, Rusty asks Domino for help in getting the paper he had dropped earlier, and she accepts.
